Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated BD Lead with 8 to 12 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in MS Office and preferably experience in Sales Support within the Lifesciences domain. This hybrid role requires excellent communication and analytical skills to drive business development initiatives and support our growth objectives.
Responsibilities
Lead business development initiatives to drive company growth and achieve revenue targets.Oversee the identification and pursuit of new business opportunities within the Lifesciences domain.Provide strategic input on market trends and competitive landscape to inform business development strategies.Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and clients to ensure long-term partnerships.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective sales strategies.Utilize MS Office tools to create detailed reports presentations and proposals for potential clients.Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and industry trends.Support the sales team by providing technical expertise and insights during client meetings and presentations.Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and growth.Ensure all business development activities align with the companys overall goals and objectives.Prepare and present regular updates on business development progress to senior management.Manage and mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and performance.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry developments and best practices to stay competitive.
Qualifications
Possess strong technical skills in MS Office to create detailed reports and presentations.Have a minimum of 8 years of experience in business development or a related field.Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships.Show proficiency in conducting market research and analyzing industry trends.Exhibit strong analytical skills to monitor and improve sales performance metrics.Display the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Preferably have experience in Sales Support within the Lifesciences domain.Be capable of managing and mentoring junior team members.Have a strategic mindset to provide valuable input on business development strategies.Be detail-oriented and organized to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Show a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.Demonstrate the ability to prepare and present updates to senior management.
Certifications Required
Certified Business Development Professional (CBDP) or equivalent certification preferred.
