Position Summary

EY is one the lead service providers in the Banking and Capital Markets (BCM) industry. To maintain continued leadership position and fuel next wave of growth of the GDS BCM sector, requires a strong experienced leader to spearhead the next wave of growth across our client base. As we continue to push for large Tech transformation deals in BCM, a strong leader at helm will help bring together our Technology capabilities acrossb Engineering, Cloud, Data, AI, Tech Ops and Risk Tech to capture the next set of opportunities our vast and deliver on these opportunities.

Essential Functions of the job

Essential Functions of the Job:

The Americas BCM Tech Lead will lead / build out capability and deliver across various BCM LoBs – Core Banking, Commercial / Wholesale Banking, Asset / Lease Finance, Retail Banking and Capital Markets. The Tech leader will be responsible for:

• Managing and running BCM Tech within EY GDS end to end across all BCM LoBs and related platforms
• Run end to end Tech delivery for Americas
• Will have client delivery teams reporting from across cross functional teams
• Overall responsibility for Technology growth including large transformation deal participation, talent acquisition and new capability build out
• People and performance management with proven ability to nurture and build teams across clients and sustain teams for longer period
• Planning, prioritization and tracking of Tech pipeline for BCM sector
• Pursuit Leadership for large deals
• Build a team and mentor Partners, Exec Directors, Account Leads a large offshore team
• Host several client CXOs and their teams to create the conducive & collaborative environment for client innovation.
• Should be able to navigate a hybrid consulting organization and manage several stakeholder groups

Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities

• Highly motivated, self-starter professional with the ability to lead large geo dispersed teams
• Lead large transformations across client organizations
• Go To Market responsibility to shape large deals working with onshore teams in responding to competitive RFPs
• The person will also work collaboratively with FS competency leaders and across clients

Education & Experience

Education:

Graduate in any discipline, preferably Technology/M.Sc./Dipl.Eng/ complemented with post-diploma study in IT or MBA

Experience:

20+ Years overall, with minimum 10y+ delivery leadership

Knowledge and Skills Requirements

• Has prior experience in leading offshore set ups across BCM domain.
• Strong and inspirational leadership with focus on domain led technical delivery excellence.
• Grow and sustain large, high-performing teams; specialization in at least one BCM domain with strong familiarity of market landscape
• Must have the ability to engage with CXOs, lead large pursuits and take end to end ownership of deal making
• Paint a compelling vision of the future, leverage storytelling and rally others with passion and purpose.
• Strong communication skills and able to successfully articulate techno functional concepts to both business and technology audience
• 20+ years in managing, building, and delivering solutions for BCM clientele.
• Strong experience in managing and working with globally connected teams
• Experience in reviewing decisions and articulate pros/cons of options based on personal experience, industry knowledge, and best practices.
• Proven track record in delivering large multiyear transformation programs across various engagements models – Time & Material, Fixed Capacity, Outcome Based, Managed Services
