Battery Development Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Designing of plastic supporting structures / Plastic brackets for high voltage busbars and low voltage cable harness
• Perform basic FEM simulations like eigen frequency calculations and static load case analysis
• Creation of 2D drawings
• Design of layout which includes designing electric circuit, bundle drawings, 3D models, mounting and assembly drawings 
• Perform FMEA and DFMEA
• Collaborate with cross functional team and supplier

Additional Skills:

• Design knowledge of plastic product design / Injection molded component is must to have
• Advance knowhow in CATIA V5 software is must to have
• Good analaytical skills are needed
• Design knowhow of HV and LV components like busbars, harness is good to have
• Strong communication and presentation skill set is necessary
• Knowhow of GD & T and its application 
• Good Knowhow of Battery pack components and eMobility system
