Job Summary
Backend software engineers at el puerto de Liverpool work on one or some of our services. This includes logistic products campaign products analytics among others and of course the liverpool.com.mx service as well. They work with peers on teams dedicated to areas of the product. They work together with product managers designers and backend engineers to solve common goals.
Responsibilities
Design develop and maintain critical components of the BASE24-Classic platform authorization settlement transaction monitoring etc
Actively contribute to strategic initiatives such as tokenization migration to BASE24-eps and adoption of new payment technologies.
Collaborate with infrastructure cybersecurity architecture and business teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
Troubleshoot production incidents with urgency perform root cause analysis and implement sustainable improvements.
Document technical and functional requirements in alignment with internal stakeholders.
Mentor and support junior developers promoting best practices and knowledge sharing.
Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to development and security standards.
Propose continuous improvements to processes and development tools.
At least 5 years of hands-on experience working in HP NonStop / Tandem environments.
Strong proficiency with TACL SCOBOL TAL Linux Java SQL C and/or C++.
Proven experience with ACI BASE24-Classic especially in modules such as AUT Settlement POS/ATM. Experience in B24-EPS UPF and HSM (Thales PayShield).
Deep understanding of ISO 8583 messaging.
Experience in mission-critical high-availability and regulated financial environments.
Strong analytical skills to diagnose real-time issues and work with traces and logs. Protocol TCP/IP and TLS.
Experience with tools such as asset management systems ISO 8583 message analysis audits and transaction tracing. Knowledge of tokenization cryptography and PCI-DSS compliance. Familiarity with agile methodologies and DevOps tools (version control CI/CD automation testing). Experience integrating fraud detection systems and real-time business rule engines .Participation in technology migration or payment platform modernization projects. Comfortable working with geographically distributed teams
