Are you passionate about crafting exceptional drinks and creating unforgettable experiences? We're seeking a talented and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team in Chennai, India. As a key member of our bar staff, you'll be responsible for mixing and serving drinks, engaging with customers, and contributing to a vibrant atmosphere that keeps our patrons coming back for more.

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including classic cocktails, signature drinks, and seasonal specials
  • Create a welcoming and fun atmosphere for guests, ensuring they have an enjoyable experience
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of our drink menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and flavor profiles
  • Assist in developing new cocktail recipes and contribute ideas for menu updates
  • Process cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards, including HACCP guidelines
  • Collaborate with other bar and restaurant staff to ensure smooth operations
  • Keep the bar area clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times
  • Monitor alcohol consumption of patrons and practice responsible serving
  • Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a bartender in a fast-paced environment
  • Extensive knowledge of spirits, beer, wine, and cocktail recipes
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-focused mindset
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Positive attitude and enthusiasm for creating memorable guest experiences
  • Team player willing to support colleagues across different areas of service
  • Knowledge of local liquor laws and commitment to responsible alcohol service
  • Food Handler's certification or willingness to obtain one
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus
