Job Description

A banquet manager plans and oversees events like banquets, weddings, and conferences. They are responsible for the front-of-house activities, including the layout of the venue, food and beverage service, and staff management.


Only Mumbai candidature will be considered.

Hotel/ Hospitality/Banquet Experience is must.


Responsibilities

  • Planning: Plan the layout of the venue, including the setup for food and beverage services.
  • Staff management: Hire and supervise staff, including servers, bartenders, and chefs
  • Communication: Communicate with clients, staff, vendors, and other stakeholders
  • Problem solving: Anticipate potential problems and prevent them from occurring
  • Leadership: Manage and motivate a team, delegate responsibilities, and make quick decisions
  • Event coordination: Coordinate food and beverage delivery, and ensure that events meet or exceed client expectations. Oversee dcor, layouts, placements and factors that add to the look and feel of the venue.
  • Guest Satisfaction: Take care of the special requests and queries that come from the guests
  • Food & Beverage: Monitor the food and beverages section efficiently as a banquet service manager
