What would you do? We are seeking a dynamic and young professional to join our team as a Senior Analyst/Specialist for Payment Operations. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing various aspects payment operations (Direct Debit Indemnities, CHAPS & International Payments, Cheque Operations, BACS & Faster Payment Exceptions). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Payment operations and proven team management skills to drive results in a competitive banking environment. ? Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations (Direct Debit Indemnities, CHAPS & International Payments, Cheque Operations, BACS & Faster Payment Exceptions), ensuring efficient and customer-centric services. ? Responsible for delivering time sensitive and critical electronic payments. ? Review electronic payments, payment investigations and reconciliations. ? Sound knowledge in international payment and clearing process (BACS and CHAPS) ? Understanding on Sanctions Screening and FTR (Financial Transaction Report) ? Expertise in Payment systems and Mechanisms and good understanding of Payment products Cheque, Cross Border Payments, Payment Exceptions ? Good oral and written communication are must since the process involves sending emails to client/vendor. ? Client facing or client interaction experience is must as the process requires direct interaction with client In Retail Banking Account Operations, you will perform account maintenance services, account closure, deceased customer processing and US legal order processing.
What are we looking for? ? Bachelors / Masters degree in business administration, finance, or a related field (preferred). ? LEAN and Six Sigma Certified is preferred. ? Extensive experience (10+ Years) in Payment Operations, or a related role within the financial industry. ? Strong knowledge of Payment products, services, and operations o Direct Debit Indemnities o CHAPS (Clearing House Automated Payment System - high-value, bank-to-bank payment system) & International Payments o Cheque Payments Digital Exception o BACS & Faster Payment Exceptions o Payment Service Regulations ? Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. ? Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. ? Strong understanding of compliance requirements, and risk management practices. ? Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing market conditions and effectively lead in a dynamic business environment. ? Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively under pressure. ? Employee should be flexible with any shifts (UK Shift 3 PM IST to 12:30 AM IST) and willing to extend their shift timings during the transition phase. B. Com / Accountancy background is preferred. ? Work Location: Chennai and work from Office only

Expertise in Payment systems and Mechanisms and good understanding of Payment products Cheque, Cross Border Payments, Payment Exceptions ? Good oral and written communication are must since the process involves sending emails to client/vendor. ? Client facing or client interaction experience is must as the process requires direct interaction with client or vendors. ? Should drive the team to provide work product within the stringent timeline and improved quality. ? Responsible for allocation, recon, daily and monthly reports or dashboards ? Should work independently with or without supervision. ? Realize accountability and ensure the team completes the task at hand and on time. ? Involves high level of critical thinking and independent decision making. ? Preferably Commerce Graduate ? Candidates who have experience in electronic payments, payment investigations and reconciliations with team handling experience ? MS Office knowledge is mandatory. ? Experience in Automation / RPA / Process reengineering is preferred.
