What would you do? We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as a Manager of Payment Operations. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing various aspects payment operations (Direct Debit Indemnities, CHAPS & International Payments, Cheque Operations, BACS & Faster Payment Exceptions). You will provide strategic direction, ensure operational efficiency, and deliver exceptional customer service across multiple banking channels. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Payment operations and proven leadership skills to drive results in a competitive banking environment. What are we looking for? ? Oversee and manage the day-to-day Payment operations (Direct Debit Indemnities, CHAPS & International Payments, Cheque Operations, BACS & Faster Payment Exceptions), ensuring efficient and customer-centric services. ? Strong domain knowledge on Sanctions Screening and FTR (Financial Transaction Report) ? Sound understanding in international payment and clearing process (BACS and CHAPS) ? Expertise in Payment systems and Mechanisms and good understanding of Payment products Cheque processing, Cross Border Payments, Payment Exceptions ? Review electronic payments, payment investigations and reconciliations. ? Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer experience, increase market share, and achieve revenue targets. ? Collaborate with senior management to establish operational goals, policies, and procedures that align with the overall business objectives. ? Ensure compliance with banking regulations, policies, and guidelines in payment banking operations. ? Drive the development and implementation of new payment products, services, and digital solutions to meet customer needs and market demands. ? Analyze market trends, customer behaviors, and competitive landscape to identify business opportunities and drive innovatio ? Employee should be flexible with shifts (UK Shift 3 PM IST to 12:30 AM IST) and willing to extend their shift timings during the transition phase. B. Com / Accountancy background is preferred. ? Work Location: Chennai and work from Office only

Monitor and analyze operational metrics, customer feedback, and performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and drive operational excellence. ? Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as risk management, compliance, and technology, to ensure alignment and effective implementation of business strategies. ? Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes affecting retail banking and commercial banking operations. ? Prepare and present operational reports, financial analysis, and performance updates to senior management.
