About the Role

As a Rubrik Engineer L3 , you will lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of Rubrik environments across on-premises and cloud platforms. This role involves ensuring data protection, disaster recovery, and business continuity while mentoring junior engineers and handling escalated support issues.

Key Responsibilities

• System Design & Implementation: Architect and deploy Rubrik clusters, configure backup/replication jobs, and manage enterprise backup databases.
• System Administration & Maintenance: Perform upgrades, capacity management, and ensure system uptime.
• Backup & Recovery Management: Oversee backup processes aligned with RTO/RPO SLAs; conduct periodic recovery drills.
• Disaster Recovery Planning: Implement DR solutions using Rubrik best practices; lead tabletop exercises.
• Troubleshooting & Support: Resolve escalated technical issues and liaise with Rubrik Support.
• Migration: Plan and execute backup data migrations (on-prem cloud, multi-OEM to Rubrik).
• Cloud Integration: Manage Rubrik integration with public cloud workloads.
• Security & Compliance: Enforce security controls and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain system documentation and prepare performance/compliance reports.
• Team Leadership: Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with project management teams.

Requirements

• Must Have: Rubrik Certified System Administrator (RCSA)
• Hands-on experience with Rubrik Data Protect & Cyber Recovery
• Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux administration
• Familiarity with RTO/RPO concepts and enterprise backup strategies
• Experience with BAU support processes (incident/problem/change management)
• Additional Skills: Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work with global customers (US, Europe, APAC)
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Project tools

Certifications: Rubrik Certified System Administrator (RCSA) Mandatory
