Backup Administrator

We are Looking for Commvault, Veeam Backup Administrator with 210 years of experience to manage, monitor, and support enterprise backup and recovery solutions in a large-scale, distributed environment. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise with Commvault and be capable of working in a team environment across L1, L2, and L3 support tiers

• Monitor daily backup jobs and health checks.
• Handle basic troubleshooting for failed backups.
• Perform restore jobs as per request and SOPs.
• Escalate unresolved issues to L2/L3.
• Troubleshoot complex backup/restore failures.
• Configure and manage backup policies, deduplication, and storage targets.
• Coordinate with application, OS, and storage/network teams.
• Perform catalog/database recovery and patching.
• Work with vendors for issue resolution
• Design and implement enterprise backup strategies.
• Optimize and automate backup infrastructure using scripting.
• Lead major incident troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Perform migrations, upgrades, and DR drills.
• Define and enforce best practices and compliance standards
• Strong hands-on experience with Commvault, Veeam.
• Backup configuration and Restores for databases (SQL, Oracle, SAP HANA, Exchange, etc.)
• Experience with deduplication (DDB), storage policies, media servers.
• Knowledge of Windows, Linux, VMware , cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Familiarity with tape libraries, D2D2T backups.
• Scripting/automation knowledge (PowerShell, Shell, Python preferred)
