Join our core R&D Automotive Engineering Team for our marquee Swedish Account- Polestar! Infosys is hiring core Automotive R&D professionals as part of a dedicated Offshore Delivery Center being setup for Sweden’s marquee EV brand ‘Polestar’ at our Electronics City, Bangalore Campus. If such an opportunity excites you, apply for the job opening below - Main Responsibilities: • Design and implement scalable distributed backend architectures hosted on AWS platform tailored for connected services in Polestar vehicles. • Develop, deploy, and test microservices using Spring Boot and Spring Cloud. • Containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate them using Kubernetes. • Implement messaging solutions using Apache Kafka. • Utilize MySQL and PostgreSQL databases, and manage caching with Redis. • Deploy applications on AWS EC2, AWS RDS, AWS Redis, AWS ElasticCache, and AWS EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service). • Conduct thorough testing with JUnit, Mockito, Python and Spring Boot Test. Technical Requirements
Requirements: • Minimum of 7 years of software development experience, with at least 2 years focused on developing applications on any cloud platform. • Knowledge of containerization using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes. • Experience with message brokers like Apache Kafka. • Proficiency in relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL. • Knowledge of deployment on AWS services like EC2, RDS, Redis, ElasticCache, and EKS. • Understanding of monitoring and logging using Datadog. • Strong testing skills using JUnit, Mockito, Python and Spring Boot Test. Preferred Qualifications: • Familiarity with Kubernetes (AWS EKS) and its use cases is advantageous. • Experience with over-the-air (OTA) server technology and services. • Previous experience in the automotive industry or working on automotive-related services is a plus.
