We are seeking an experienced Backend Java Developer to architect and scale our core
services. You will be working in a high-throughput environment involving complex
microservices and event-driven architectures.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy scalable Microservices using Java.
Manage event-driven data pipelines using Apache Kafka.
Design database schemas and optimize queries in MySQL for high performance.
Manage containerized applications using Kubernetes (K8s) and handle deployments via
ArgoCD.
Utilize AI assistants to assist in boilerplate generation and unit test creation.
Create and maintain unit test and integration test suites for the modules owned
Requirements
4+ years of backend development experience.
Expert knowledge of Java (Core and Spring Boot).
Strong problem-solving capabilities regarding scalability and system design.
Test Driven Development: Must have used test frameworks available in Java
AI Tooling: Proven experience incorporating GitHub Copilot into your daily workflow.
Hands-on experience with Microservices, Event Pub-Sub and Kafka.
Strong proficiency in MySQL (schema design, indexing, and query tuning).
- Fintech experience is a strong plus.
