QuickCompare AI is a Bengaluru-based price comparison platform serving 1M+ users with 125K+ monthly active users (MAU). We aggregate prices across leading quick-commerce platforms such as Zepto, Blinkit, Instamart, and more.

Were looking for a Backend Engineer Intern to help us scale our data infrastructure and build robust backend systems powering real-time price intelligence.

Role Overview

As a Backend Engineer Intern, you will:

• Build and optimize Python-based backend systems
• Develop and maintain data scraping pipelines
• Design and manage ETL workflows & cron jobs
• Work with PostgreSQL and ClickHouse databases handling 1B+ rows
• Apply strong OOP principles to ensure scalable, maintainable systems
• Occasionally contribute to lightweight frontend tasks (JS/HTML)

This is a high-impact role in a lean, fast-moving (~5 member) growth-stage team driving both B2C and B2B revenue.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Python
• Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Experience with backend development (APIs, databases, cron jobs, scraping)
• Basic frontend knowledge (JavaScript / HTML)
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote setup
• Currently enrolled in a Computer Science or related program
  

Compensation

5,000 15,000 per month (based on skills and contribution)
