Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled and motivatedBackend Developer (5+years experience)to design, build, and scale backend services that power enterprise-grade cloud and AI platforms.

You will work primarily withPython and AWS, focusing onevent-driven architectures, high-availability systems, andGenerative AI integrations. This role involves close collaboration with frontend engineers, product managers, and data/AI teams to deliver production-ready solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs usingPython
• Build and orchestrate event-driven workflows usingAWS Step Functions
• IntegrateLarge Language Models (LLMs)usingAWS Bedrock
• Work with core AWS services includingLambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Aurora/Postgres, and S3
• Design and implementscalable, high-availability backend systems
• Develop and maintain microservices usingDocker and Kubernetes (EKS)
• Ensure the performance, reliability, security, and observability of backend services
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions

Must-Have Skills & Experience

• 35 yearsof backend software engineering experience
• Strong Python proficiencyfor backend development
• Hands-on AWS experience (2+ years)with cloud-native services
• Experience designingevent-driven architecturesusing AWS Step Functions
• Solid knowledge ofLambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Aurora/Postgres, and S3
• Experience buildinglarge-scale, highly available systems
• Practical experience withmicroservices and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes/EKS)

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience integratingLLMs using AWS Bedrock
• Hands-on experience withRetrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
• Exposure toKafka or other event-streaming platforms
• Experience with AWS observability tools (CloudWatch, X-Ray)
• Background in AI-driven workflows combining deterministic logic with LLM reasoning
• Experience working onenterprise or regulated systems(finance, healthcare, etc.)
