Job Description: SDE-1 Backend Developer (Spring Ecosystem)

Experience Level: 12 Years of Relevant Experience

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Backend Developer (SDE-1) with 12 years of experience to join our backend engineering team. The ideal candidate should have a solid foundation in Java, Object-Oriented Programming, and Data Structures , along with hands-on exposure to the Spring ecosystem . This role is well-suited for engineers who are eager to learn, write clean code, and grow while working on real-world backend systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain backend services using Core Java, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot
• Apply OOP principles to design clean, modular, and maintainable code
• Implement business logic using appropriate Data Structures and Algorithms
• Design, build, and consume RESTful APIs
• Perform database operations using JPA/Hibernate
• Write and optimise SQL queries for relational databases
• Debug and troubleshoot application issues and fix defects
• Analyse logs and exceptions to identify root causes
• Participate in code reviews and follow coding standards and best practices
• Collaborate with team members to understand requirements and deliver solutions
• Continuously learn and adapt to new tools, frameworks, and technologies

Programming & Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming concepts
• (Encapsulation, Inheritance, Polymorphism, Abstraction)
• Good knowledge of Data Structures
• (Arrays, Lists, Stacks, Queues, Maps, Trees basic algorithms)
• Proficiency in Core Java
• Hands-on experience with:
• Spring Framework
• Spring Boot
• JPA / Hibernate
• Good understanding of SQL and relational databases
• Familiarity with RESTful web services
• Basic knowledge of Maven or Gradle

Debugging & Development Tools

• Ability to debug and troubleshoot using IDEs like IntelliJ IDEA or Eclipse
• Basic understanding of logging, exception handling, and error analysis
