Job Overview

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Backend Engineer to join a cutting-edge greenfield project . The ideal candidate will play a key role in PoC development, system design , and backend architecture while collaborating with cross-functional global teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership with a high level of autonomy and self-sufficiency
• Contribute significantly to a new greenfield project , including PoC development and system design
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Java and Python
• Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams and other Turing engineers
• Design and implement robust APIs and database solutions
• Create, maintain, and update technical documentation related to development processes and systems
• Ensure high-quality code, performance optimization, and best engineering practices

Job Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering, Computer Science , or equivalent practical experience
• 7+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot
• 4+ years of experience working with Python
• 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure and SQL Databases
• Strong experience in database design, API design, and implementation
• Experience working on system design, microservices, and scalable architectures
• Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written)

Good to Have

• Experience working on enterprise-scale or greenfield projects
• Exposure to cloud-native architectures
• Experience collaborating with distributed/global teams
