Backend Engineer Forward Deployed (Python, Microservices) | 2-4 Yrs

If you enjoy building developer platforms, enterprise APIs, and scalable microservices, this role puts you at the centre of a fast-moving startup shipping production code weekly.

What you'll build

• High-performance FastAPI backend services
• Enterprise conversation intelligence APIs
• Real-time pipelines using Kafka and Redis
• Scalable microservices powering AI workflows
• Integration connectors with enterprise tools (CRM, Salesforce)
• Internal dashboards for usage analytics and developer tooling

What were looking for

24 years experience building production backend systems

Strong Python engineering (FastAPI / Flask / Django)

Experience designing REST APIs consumed by external developers

Solid understanding of microservices architecture

Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and performance optimization

Comfortable debugging production systems and distributed services

Bonus if you have

• Kafka / Redis
• GCP / AWS
• Docker
• WebSockets or real-time systems
• Startup experience
