There is potential for this role to grow into a team lead role in the next 6 months as we scale

Role Overview

As a Backend Engineer, youll design, develop, and maintain the core backend systems that

power our products. Youll work alongside product, ML, frontend, and DevOps teams to ensure

seamless integration, high availability, and optimal performance of our applications. This role

requires strong expertise in backend technologies, a passion for scalable architecture, and

experience with efficient data management.

What we want

Ability to deal with ambiguous problem statements

2+ years of experience in backend development with proficiency in languages such as

Python, Node.js, Java, or Go.

Strong understanding of RESTful API design, microservices architecture, and

server-side frameworks.

Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and familiarity with

NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis).

Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and

containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (Git), and agile development

methodologies.

Experience working with LLM systems (prompting, LLM APIs, Agent Development

Platforms++)

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of caching strategies, load balancing, and API gateway configurations.

Experience with serverless architectures and asynchronous processing.

Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Engineering Degree from Tier 1 Colleges.
