Java and Kafka

Experience:

• 612 years of progressive experience in developing and delivering large-scale backend systems, with significant focus on Java-based web services and distributed architectures.
• Core Java & Frameworks: Expert-level proficiency in Java (Java 5+) with deep, hands-on experience in building enterprise applications using Spring Boot and Spring MVC. Strong understanding of OOP, multithreading, collections, JVM tuning, and performance optimization.
• Web Services: Proven track record in designing and building RESTful and SOAP web services using Java and Spring ecosystem.
• Event Streaming & Messaging (Kafka): Strong hands-on experience with Apache Kafka in designing event-driven and real-time streaming architectures. Expertise in topic design, producer-consumer implementation, partitioning strategies, consumer groups, offset management, and ensuring high availability and fault-tolerant messaging systems.
• Containerization: Expert knowledge of Docker and practical experience preparing Java applications for containerized deployment.
• Kubernetes Proficiency: Strong experience with Kubernetes (K8s) for deploying, scaling, and managing containerized applications in production environments.
• Database Skills: Proficiency with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ORM technologies such as Hibernate and JPA.
• CI/CD Tools: Practical experience setting up and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment workflows.
