About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Backend Developer with a strong foundation in computer science and hands-on experience building scalable systems. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced startup environment, takes ownership, and can translate business requirements into efficient technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs.
• Collaborate closely with frontend, product, and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Optimize application performance, reliability, and security.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture planning.
• Troubleshoot production issues and ensure system uptime.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field from a Tier 1 college .
• 2+ years of backend development experience in a fast-paced environment (preferably a startup).
• Strong proficiency in one or more backend languages: Node.js, Python, Go, or Java .
• Experience with frameworks such as Express, Django, or Spring Boot .
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design .
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and database systems (SQL/NoSQL).
• Working knowledge of AWS, GCP, or Azure .
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes , and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.

• Exposure to distributed systems and large-scale applications.
• Experience in an early-stage startup or building products from scratch.
