Company Description

Creo Tech Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is building a next-generation Vehicle Service App that connects car owners with trusted service partners digitising the end-to-end vehicle maintenance experience. We are partnering with Vetti Studio (Design Director: Milan Kodavala) for Brand, UI/UX, and interactive prototyping. We are now building a high-performance in-house engineering team to bring that vision to life.

Role Description

We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer / Architect who can take full end-to-end technical ownership of the platform. This is a foundational role you will design the backend architecture from scratch, build robust and scalable APIs, and lay the engineering groundwork that the entire product will be built upon. You will work closely with the frontend and mobile teams, and directly coordinate with our design partner to ensure seamless design-to-development handoffs.

Qualifications

Architecture & Design: Design, document, and own the overall platform architecture ensuring it is scalable, maintainable, and production-ready from Day 1

API Development: Build and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs that power both the customer-facing app and the partner portal

Microservices: Design and implement a microservices-based system that allows independent scaling of key modules (bookings, payments, notifications, service partner management)

Database Management: Design and manage relational and NoSQL databases: MySQL / PostgreSQL for transactional data, MongoDB for flexible document storage

Authentication & Security: Implement secure authentication (JWT / OAuth2), role-based access control (RBAC), and data encryption protocols

Third-Party Integrations: Integrate payment gateways (Razorpay / Stripe), push notification services, SMS/email APIs, and service partner APIs

Cloud Infrastructure: Set up and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS / GCP / Azure including CI/CD pipelines, containerisation (Docker / Kubernetes), and monitoring

Code Quality: Establish coding standards, conduct peer code reviews, and ensure test coverage across the backend codebase

Team Collaboration: Mentor junior developers, work closely with frontend and mobile developers, and liaise with Milan's design team on API contracts and data models

Required Qualifications & Skills

35 years of experience in backend development

Strong proficiency in Node.js (preferred) or Python / Java / Go

Hands-on experience designing and building REST and GraphQL APIs

Database expertise: MySQL or PostgreSQL (mandatory), MongoDB (preferred)

Experience with cloud platforms: AWS / GCP / Azure

Strong understanding of microservices architecture and event-driven design

Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions / Jenkins)

Solid knowledge of authentication: JWT, OAuth2, API key management

Experience integrating third-party payment gateways and notification services

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make architectural decisions independently

Preferred / Good to have

Prior experience building a marketplace or service platform (B2B2C model)

Experience in the automotive or field-service industry

Familiarity with event-driven architecture (Kafka / RabbitMQ)

Knowledge of Redis for caching and session management

Experience setting up observability tools: Datadog, New Relic, or ELK Stack
