About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Lead Backend Developer to architect, develop, and scale backend systems across our neurotechnology and wellness platforms. You will work extensively with Node.js (Fastify), Python, Go, Prisma, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server , building secure and high-performance applications supporting global deployments.

This is a high-impact role for someone who enjoys ownership, solving deep technical challenges, and building robust backend architecture in a fast-moving innovation-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs.
• Develop microservices using Node.js (Fastify) , Python , and Go .
• Manage and optimize databases including PostgreSQL and SQL Server .
• Use Prisma ORM for schema management and efficient data operations.
• Ensure system reliability, performance, and security across applications.
• Collaborate with Product, Frontend, DevOps, and Data Science teams.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement long-term solutions.
• Review code, set technical standards, and mentor junior engineers.
• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 4+ years of backend development experience , preferably in high-scale systems.
• Strong expertise with:
• Node.js (Fastify)
• Python
• Go (Golang)
• Prisma ORM
• PostgreSQL & SQL Server
• Solid understanding of SQL , relational databases, and system architecture.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, and collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications in Node.js, Python, databases, or Cloud (AWS preferred).
• Experience with Docker , CI/CD pipelines, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Background in performance tuning, security best practices, and cloud deployments.
