Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer to join our team. As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the backend architecture of our web applications. You will work with databases like PostgreSQL and MongoDB, and build RESTful APIs using Node.js to support frontend functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain the backend services and server-side logic using Node.js.

Design, implement, and optimize PostgreSQL and MongoDB databases for efficient data storage and retrieval.

Build scalable RESTful APIs or GraphQL APIs to support frontend functionalities.

Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms (e.g., JWT, OAuth).

Write clean, reusable, and efficient backend code while ensuring scalability and security.

Collaborate with frontend developers for seamless integration between frontend and backend.

Troubleshoot and resolve backend-related issues and performance bottlenecks.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Hands-on experience in Node.js backend development.

Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL (SQL) and MongoDB (NoSQL) database management.

Experience with API development (RESTful, GraphQL).

Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.

Familiarity with authentication protocols (e.g., JWT, OAuth).

Solid understanding of asynchronous programming, event-driven architecture, and callback patterns.

Familiarity with Git for version control.

Experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha, Chai)
