Role Overview

The collaboration between Cisco Sales, Marketing, and Insights & Analytics is critical to delivering a seamless customer journey. This role supports the campaigns team and global Go-to-Market organization by aligning data strategy, marketing execution, and business priorities. The Senior Marketing Insights Analyst acts as a bridge between global analytics capabilities and regional B2B marketing needs, ensuring insights translate into measurable business outcomes.


What Youll Do

  • Deliver timely, actionable reporting, analysis, and recommendations on B2B marketing performance
  • Analyze complex KPI metrics using robust attribution methodologies to evaluate marketing effectiveness and optimize performance
  • Translate data into clear, compelling business narratives for global campaign leadership
  • Apply deep understanding of Ciscos B2B product portfolio, sales objectives, customer segments, and competitive landscape
  • Break down complex business questions, design analytical approaches, execute analyses, and communicate insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Partner with global stakeholders to define priorities, develop use cases, and deliver insights supporting investment, performance, and strategic decisions
  • Identify opportunities to streamline analytics processes, improve efficiency, and enhance insight quality
  • Recommend new datasets, tools, and methodologies to improve marketing effectiveness


Technical Expertise

  • Advanced proficiency: SQL, Excel, Tableau
  • Intermediate proficiency: Python (data manipulation, automation)
  • Strong experience in B2B marketing analytics, campaign measurement, and cross-channel attribution
  • Exposure to statistical analysis and data science fundamentals (preferred)
  • Experience in automated reporting and scalable analytics delivery (plus)

Who You Are

  • 79 years of experience in Marketing Insights, Marketing Analytics, or Business Analytics (B2B)
  • Strong problem-solving skills with experience presenting insights to senior stakeholders
  • Deep understanding of B2B marketing programs, strategy, and performance measurement
  • Highly proficient in SQL, Excel, Tableau with working knowledge of Python
  • Strong business acumen, detail-oriented, and process-driven
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and stakeholder influence skills
  • Creative, adaptable, and comfortable in a fast-paced, global environment
  • Flexible working hours to collaborate across global time zones
  • Self-motivated, accountable, and deadline-driven
