Required Technical Skill Set Azure SQL DBA

Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have

• Got Exposure in managing Azure cloud end-to-end infrastructure, including Azure, networking, provisioning, management, and implementation features (multi-tenancy, virtualization, automation, orchestration, elastic scalability).
• Experience working in large Azure environments, spanning multiple accounts/subscriptions, availability zones, and regions.
• 6+ years of hands-on experience operating MS SQL servers and related technologies in Azure.
• Very good understanding of database encryption, high-availability, disaster recovery, database replication, backup/restore.
• experience working with large MS SQL Server 2016, 2017, 2019 databases in a 24 x 7 x 365 production environment
• Good performance tuning experience, using all available tools like SolarWinds, Query Store and methods to investigate and make recommendations to improve slow performing queries and procedures at the database and server level.

- Exposure to Azure IaaS & PaaS Services

- Have good knowledge and experience in migration of workloads to cloud

- Have Good understanding of Azure native services

Good-to-Have

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

Vulnerability Monitoring and Remediation

-Cloud Guardrail monitoring and remediation.

-Cloud DB maintenance

- Performance and capacity monitoring

-Disaster recovery and backup configuration, testing and monitoring

-IM, PM < Release management

TCS Eligibility Criteria:*BE/B.tech/MCA/M.Sc./MS with minimum 3 years of relevant IT-experience post
