Azure Solution Architect ( Full-time at a Fortune 500 tech MNC)

Job Details:

• 13+ Years of development and application modernization experience.
• Experience in hosting and configuring applications on IIS and leading the modernization of applications to the Azure Platform as a Service (PaaS) platform, including migration experience.
• Expertise in application hosting, configuration, and optimization across various Azure PaaS services (e.g., Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Container Instance (ACI) ).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to find alternate ways to achieve goals.
• Ability to understand application architecture, dependencies, and integrations .
• Should have led and managed a team of more than 5 members and be able to guide the team technically .
• Very good understanding of application migration scenarios and pathways.

Primary Skills

• Hands-on web application development skills .
• Hands-on experience in developing and hosting web applications on the Azure PaaS platform .
• Primary database skills (e.g., database connectivity, configurations, etc.).
• Ability to analyze application dependencies .
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architect, Data Platform, DevOps, and Integration Teams to ensure cloud adoption follows standard best practices.
• Well-versed in containerizing web application front-end and web services .
• Should understand the detailed complexities of hosting containerized applications on Kubernetes .
• Application performance assessment pre- and post-migration.
• Ensure that the proposed solution covers Azure strategy , stakeholder management , and the actual solution (covering business, application, and Infrastructure), including commercial aspects in terms of value for money (not commercial costing, etc.).
• Understanding of customer Infra landscape , ability to Design Azure Landing Zone and provide the Azure target state solution architecture .

Secondary Skills

• Work with Internal stakeholders, Customer stakeholders, and Project Managers to understand migration requirements and provide solutions accordingly.
• Troubleshooting experience with the Azure PaaS platform.
• Basic understanding of containerization and AKS service .

Soft Skills

• Good customer relationship management (connect) .
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills to manage customer calls.
• Prepare solution presentations .
