Hiring: Azure Data Platform Architect (Databricks + Data Lake)

Hithlaksh Solutions is building a modern enterprise data platform on Microsoft Azure and is looking for a hands-on Azure Data Platform Architect who can design, implement, and optimize a scalable Data Lake / Lakehouse architecture.

This role requires someone who has already built production data platforms using Azure Databricks and Azure Data Factory, and who can own the platform architecture, cost optimization, and operational monitoring.

Azure Data Factory (ADF)

Azure Storage / Data Lake

Azure Databricks (primary processing layer)

Power BI (analytics layer)

Architect and build a scalable Azure Data Lake / Lakehouse platform

Design data ingestion pipelines using Azure Data Factory

Implement data processing pipelines using Azure Databricks

Structure data models and analytics layers for Power BI

Design secure and scalable data architecture on Azure

Monitor and optimize Azure platform costs (Databricks, storage, compute)

Design cost-efficient cluster strategies and pipeline execution

Establish monitoring, governance, and performance controls

Continuously improve the platform architecture

Strong experience building Azure Data Platforms / Data Lakes

Hands-on Azure Databricks development (mandatory)

Experience implementing ADF data pipelines

Experience integrating Power BI analytics

Deep understanding of Azure Storage / Data Lake architecture

Ability to design and build platforms from scratch

CI/CD for data pipelines and Databricks workloads

Infrastructure automation for Azure data services

Deployment and monitoring of data workloads

This role is primarily a Data Platform Architect role, not a pure DevOps role.
