Azure Infra Operations Lead - Senior Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Azure Infrastructure Operations Lead to oversee and manage our Azure cloud infrastructure operations. This role is responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and scalability of our Azure environment, leading a team of cloud engineers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business-critical applications and services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the day-to-day operations of Azure infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
• Manage and mentor a team of Azure cloud engineers and administrators.
• Design and implement operational procedures, monitoring, and automation for Azure services.
• Oversee incident, problem, and change management processes in the Azure environment.
• Collaborate with architecture and development teams to support infrastructure needs for new and existing applications.
• Ensure compliance with security policies, governance, and best practices in cloud operations.
• Optimize cloud costs and resource utilization through effective monitoring and reporting.
• Manage backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies in Azure.
• Stay updated with the latest Azure features, tools, and industry trends.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 12+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 4 years in Azure cloud operations.
• Strong expertise in Azure IaaS, PaaS, networking, identity management, and security.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Azure Automation, and ARM templates.
• Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Azure CLI, etc.) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep).
• Experience with ITIL processes and tools like ServiceNow or equivalent.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Azure certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-305, or AZ-400 are highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with hybrid cloud environments and on-premises to Azure migrations.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of compliance standards such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, or HIPAA.
