JOB DESCRIPTION

**Senior .NET Azure Developer**

### Role Summary

We are looking for a **Senior .NET Azure Developer** with **strong hands-on experience in C# and Azure cloud services**. The ideal candidate should have deep understanding of **Azure-native architectures**, event-driven systems, scalable APIs, and distributed data handling.

## Core Technical Skills (Must Have)

### .NET & C#

- Strong expertise in **C# (.NET Core / .NET 6+)**

- Solid understanding of:

- Asynchronous programming (`async/await`)

- Dependency Injection

- SOLID principles

- Clean Architecture

- Experience building **RESTful APIs** using ASP.NET Core

- Exception handling, logging, performance tuning

### Azure Functions

- Hands-on experience with **Azure Functions (Isolated / In-Process)**

- Knowledge of:

- HTTP-triggered functions

- Timer & Event-based triggers

- Experience deploying and monitoring Functions in Azure

### Azure Cosmos DB

- Strong experience with **Azure Cosmos DB

- Deep understanding of:

- Containers, items, partitions

- Partition key design

- Writing efficient queries using Cosmos SDK

- Handling transactions, consistency levels, and TTL

- Performance tuning and cost optimization

### Azure Event Hub

Experience designing **event-driven architectures**

- Working knowledge of:

- Event producers and consumers

- Consumer groups

- Partitioning and throughput units

- Integrating Event Hub with Azure Functions / .NET services

### Azure Blob Storage

- Experience with **Azure Blob Storage**

- Knowledge of:

- Containers, blobs, access tiers

- Upload/download large files

- Using Blob Storage for:

- File storage

- Logs

- Backup and archival scenarios

### Azure Redis Cache

- Hands-on experience with **Azure Redis Cache**

- Knowledge of:

- Caching strategies (read-through, write-through)

- TTL management

- Cache invalidation

- Improving application performance using Redis

- Using Redis with ASP.NET Core distributed caching

## API & System Design

- Design and implement **scalable, secure APIs**

- Knowledge of:

- Authentication & Authorization (JWT, OAuth basics)

- API versioning

- Rate limiting

- Experience integrating APIs with Azure services

## Testing & Quality

## Cloud & DevOps (Good to Have)

- Experience with:

- Azure App Services

- Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions

- CI/CD pipelines

- Understanding of environment-based configurations

- Secure secrets handling (Azure Key Vault basic)

## Soft Skills

- Strong problem-solving ability

- Ability to debug complex production issues

- Clear communication with cross-functional teams

- Ownership mindset and attention to code quality

## Experience Level

- **8+ years** experience in .NET / C#

- **5+ years** experience working with Microsoft Azure

- Prior experience in **cloud-native or distributed systems** is a plus
