Azure Devops Engineer

Title: Azure DevOps Engineer

Location: Chennai (Onsite)

Employment Type: Full-time Permanent

Experience Required: 9-12 Years

Responsibilities:

• Design, automate, and optimize CI/CD pipelines and Azure cloud infrastructure for mission-critical applications and product platforms.
• Implement and manage deployment strategies such as blue/green, canary, and rolling deployments , including rollback and environment promotion.
• Ensure strong cloud networking, security, and identity practices across environments.
• Drive secure and compliant deployments and create component and infrastructure architecture views .
• Collaborate closely with development, QA, security, and operations teams to ensure platform reliability, scalability, and security .

Required Skills:

• Strong experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar tools .
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and configuration management using Ansible .
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure and Azure DevOps .
• Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift .
• Experience creating and managing Helm charts and automating container deployments.
• Solid understanding of DevOps practices in Agile environments .
• Proficiency in scripting/programming (Shell, Python) for build and deployment automation.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with advanced deployment patterns and environment promotion strategies.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, networking, and identity management .
• Exposure to architecture documentation and infrastructure design standards.
• Experience supporting high-availability and high-scale production systems .
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills for cross-functional teams.
