Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in YAML scripting and Azure DevOps pipelines. The ideal candidate should have practical exposure to CI/CD implementation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Azure cloud services, and containerization technologies.

This role requires collaboration with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to streamline deployments, improve DevOps maturity, and ensure secure and reliable Azure environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (Pipelines, Repos, Artifacts)
• Develop and manage YAML-based pipeline scripting for automated build and deployment workflows
• Automate build, test, and release processes for applications and services
• Provision and manage Azure infrastructure using ARM, Bicep, or Terraform
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics
• Ensure security best practices including secrets management, RBAC, and network security
• Optimize performance, availability, and cost efficiency of Azure resources
• Support containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes (AKS)
• Troubleshoot deployment failures and perform root cause analysis
• Drive DevOps best practices and continuous improvement initiatives

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps / Cloud Engineering roles
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps services
• Mandatory experience in YAML scripting for CI/CD pipelines
• Strong knowledge of Azure core services (Compute, Networking, Storage, App Services)
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and branching strategies
• Hands-on experience in Infrastructure as Code (ARM/Bicep/Terraform)
• Scripting knowledge in PowerShell, Bash, or Python
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (AKS)
• Good understanding of Azure security, identity, and access management

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft Azure certifications such as AZ-400 (DevOps Engineer Expert) or AZ-104 (Azure Administrator)
• Experience working in agile environments
