The Architect role focuses on designing and implementing robust solutions using Azure Data Factory with 9 to 12 years of Exp a preference for experience in Life and Annuities Insurance. The candidate will work in a hybrid model during day shifts contributing to innovative projects that drive business success. This position does not require travel.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable data integration solutions using Azure Data Factory to meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and translate them into technical specifications.
- Ensure data solutions are optimized for performance reliability and scalability.
- Implement best practices for data management and governance within Azure environments.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure seamless data flow and integrity.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members on Azure Data Factory functionalities.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and tools to enhance data processing capabilities.
- Develop documentation and training materials for end-users and stakeholders.
- Conduct regular assessments of data architecture to identify areas for improvement.
- Work closely with stakeholders to align data solutions with business objectives.
- Drive innovation by integrating new features and capabilities into existing systems.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in data handling.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and learning within the team.
Qualifications
- Possess extensive experience in Azure Data Factory demonstrating proficiency in data integration and transformation.
- Have a strong understanding of data management principles and practices.
- Experience in Life and Annuities Insurance is a plus providing domain-specific insights.
- Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex data issues.
- Exhibit strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
- Show a commitment to staying updated with the latest advancements in Azure technologies.
- Ability to work in a hybrid model balancing remote and in-office work effectively.
Certifications Required
Azure Data Engineer Associate certification is mandatory.
