Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Azure Data Engineer with 5+ years of experience to join our BFSI technology team, supporting clients in the Benelux and EUC regions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Azure data services, data pipeline development, and financial data architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Synapse Analytics.
• Develop and maintain ETL processes for BFSI applications.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders from Benelux/EUC regions to understand data requirements.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance with BFSI standards.
• Optimize performance of data solutions and troubleshoot issues.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including cloud architects, data scientists, and application developers.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure Databricks, and Azure SQL.
• Proficiency in Python and/or PySpark for data engineering tasks.
• Solid understanding of BFSI data models and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git, Azure DevOps).
• Familiarity with data governance tools and practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Data Engineering, or related field.
• Experience working with clients in the Benelux region or EUC environments.
• Certifications in Azure (e.g., DP-203: Data Engineering on Microsoft Azure).
