Azure Data Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Data Architect for our client, a leading consulting firm in India. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in overseeing multiple data warehouse and data lake implementations, possess a deep understanding of data modeling, and be well-versed in driving digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement data architecture solutions aligned with business goals.
• Develop and maintain data models, dictionaries, and flow diagrams to ensure clarity and governance.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical clarifications.
• Drive data ingestion, transformation, and summarization pipelines using modern tools and frameworks.
• Ensure robust data management practices across SQL, NoSQL, and Hadoop ecosystems.
• Lead data integration and ETL processes for seamless data flow across systems.
• Build and optimize solutions using Azure Data Services (ADLS, ADF, Synapse).
• Implement Databricks-based medallion architecture and manage data with Unity Catalog for secure governance.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering/architecture.
• Proven experience as a Data Architect or similar role.
• Strong expertise in data warehousing, data modeling, and ETL design.
• Hands-on experience with Azure data engineering tools and Databricks.
• Deep knowledge of SQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, and modern data lakehouse concepts.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Experience in consulting (Preferred)
