Responsibilities

• Lead Azure architecture, governance, and automation frameworks for various workloads.
• Define reusable IaC templates (Terraform, Bicep) for Azure landing zones, VM provisioning, and policy enforcement.
• Implement automation for patching, monitoring, and compliance reporting using Azure Automation.
• Collaborate with Security and FinOps teams to define governance baselines and cost optimization rules.
• Ensure secure connectivity through ExpressRoute, VPN Gateway, and NSG configuration standards.
• Integrate observability tools (Splunk, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics) into centralized dashboards.
• Define DR and business continuity plans using Azure Site Recovery (ASR) and Backup Vault policies.
• Mentor L2/L3 engineers and review designs, runbooks, and cloud deployment architectures.

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• Good years of experience in Azure infrastructure design, DevOps, and governance.
• Expertise in Terraform, Bicep, ARM, Azure Policy, and Defender for Cloud implementations.
• Experience integrating Splunk and ServiceNow workflows into Azure environments.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

• Primary: Azure VM, ASR, Terraform, Bicep, Azure Monitor, Defender.
• Secondary: Azure AD, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CrowdStrike, Tenable, Ansible, PowerShell, JIRA.
• Certifications: Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert / DevOps Engineer Expert.
