About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Azure AIS Lead to design, develop, and manage integration solutions using Microsoft Azure services. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in Azure Integration Services and API lifecycle management, along with hands-on experience in data engineering and cloud-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy integration solutions using Azure AIS components (Logic Apps, Azure Functions, APIM, Event Grid, Service Bus, Azure Storage).
• Develop new APIs and integrations, and enhance existing functionalities.
• Ensure best practices across API/integration lifecycle, including security, performance, and scalability.
• Perform unit and UAT testing of APIs and integrations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and secure solutions.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize integration workflows using Application Insights and other tools.

Must-Have Skills

• Strong proficiency in C# (.NET Framework & .NET Core) and OOPS concepts .
• Hands-on experience with Azure AIS services : Logic Apps, Azure Functions, APIM, Event Grid, Service Bus.
• Expertise in RESTful and SOAP API design principles , APIM policies, and transformations.
• Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman), monitoring, and documentation.
• Proficient in JavaScript, XSLT, Liquid Templates .
• Strong experience with SQL Server and database design.
• Knowledge of API/Integration security protocols and best practices.
• Experience with Open API Specification / WSDL / SOAP / XSLT .
• Previous experience with Azure Data Services : Data Lake Storage, Data Factory, Databricks, HDInsight, Azure SQL Database, Synapse Analytics.
• Programming knowledge in Python, Java, Scala, R .
• Understanding of ETL processes , data models, analytics, and segmentation techniques.

Good-to-Have

• Strong expertise in Azure PaaS offerings related to integrations.
• Previous experience as a Data Engineer or similar role.
• Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (Masters is a plus).
