Experience: 6 to 8yrs

Core responsibilities

Deploying and managing virtual machines, storage, and virtual networks within the Azure environment.
Implementing security measures, managing user access with identity and access management (IAM) solutions like Azure Active Directory, and enforcing governance policies.
Monitoring resource performance, analyzing logs, and optimizing resource utilization for cost and operational efficiency.
Ensuring high availability through services like availability sets and zones, and implementing disaster recovery solutions using tools like Azure Site Recovery.
Using scripting languages and automation tools to streamline tasks, such as shutting down unused resources to save costs.
Identifying and resolving issues related to Azure services, performance, and connectivity.
Implementing and managing cost-effective cloud systems.

Specific tasks

Creating virtual machines from images or disks.
Configuring Network Security Groups (NSGs) and Application Security Groups (ASGs).
Managing backups and performing restores to ensure business continuity.
Implementing patch management for virtual machines.
Configuring and managing Azure storage (blob, file, table, and queue).
