AWS System Administrator

Role: AWS System Administrator

Experience: 4-10 years

Location: Hyderabad/ Chennai

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage, configure, and optimize AWS infrastructure (EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, RDS, CloudWatch, ELB, Auto Scaling, etc.)
• Perform Linux/Windows system administration tasks (patching, updates, troubleshooting).
• Implement and maintain cloud security best practices (IAM policies, KMS, security groups).
• Monitor cloud environments using CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and other monitoring tools.
• Automate routine tasks using Bash, Python, or PowerShell scripts .
• Manage backup, disaster recovery, and highavailability configurations.
• Deploy and maintain infrastructure automation using CloudFormation / Terraform .
• Coordinate with DevOps and development teams for deployments and environment upgrades.
• Troubleshoot network issues related to VPC, subnets, route tables, VPN, Direct Connect, etc.
• Ensure cost optimization and prepare AWS cost & performance reports.
• Handle incident management and root cause analysis (RCA).

Required Skills:

• 410 years of experience as a System Administrator, with at least 3+ years in AWS.
• Strong handson experience with:
• EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, SNS, SQS
• Solid understanding of networking concepts: DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VPN, Load Balancers.
• Experience with Linux and/or Windows server administration.
• Strong scripting skills (Shell, Python, or PowerShell).
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience CloudFormation or Terraform .
• Knowledge of CI/CD (CodePipeline, Jenkins, GitLab) is a plus.
• AWS Certification (AWS SysOps Admin Associate / Solutions Architect) is an added advantage.
