AWS Product Development Tech Lead

As an AWS Products and Patterns Tech Lead within our Infrastructure & Cloud team, you will focus on designing, implementing, and managing reusable cloud product patterns and blueprints. Your role will be critical in establishing standardized solutions that enable developers to efficiently deploy secure and compliant cloud infrastructures. This position offers a unique opportunity to influence cloud architecture best practices and streamline infrastructure deployments across the organization.

Core Responsibilities:

• Handling and leading a team of associates to ensure successful delivery of the project
• Act as tech advocate for the development team in delivering features
• Develop and Utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IAC) tools like Terraform to build and manage cloud resources
• Developing patterns for cloud to enable emerging business initiatives
• Share your passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with and learning new technologies
• Collaborate with product owners, and architecture to deliver robust cloud-based solutions that drive powerful experiences
• Integrate patterns for discoverability and reuse in Internal Developer Platform

Required Skills:

• Experience with GitLab repositories and configure CI/CD for Terraform deployments
• Experience with Cloud Native technologies on at least one of the major cloud services providers (AWS preferred)
• Experience with AWS Services and cloud policies
• Experience in Agile/Scrum methodology
• Understanding of architecture principles and design methodologies.
• Good interpersonal skills and presentation skills

Qualification:

• Must have a degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent work experience
• Proven experience in IT industry with software engineering background.
• 10+ years of hands-on experience across cloud services SDLC tools, specifically CI/CD tools (open-source or commercial)
• 2+ years of leading enterprise/platform engineering teams
• 5+ years in DevOps automation across various technologies
• 5+ years of experience of using build and deployment tools (terraform, gitlab)
