AWS Full Stack Engineer

Blue Spire is looking for an AWS Full Stack Developer with 35 years of experience in building and supporting cloud-based, serverless applications. The role requires strong AWS fundamentals and backend development skills, with flexibility to work across contact center, conversational AI, or agent desktop solutions. Candidates may specialize in one or more optional areas based on experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain AWS serverless applications
• Develop AWS Lambda functions using Python and/or Node.js
• Build and integrate REST APIs using API Gateway
• Implement IAM roles and security best practices
• Monitor and troubleshoot issues using CloudWatch
• Integrate AWS services with external systems
• Support production issues and improve system reliability

Mandatory Skillset

• 35 years of software development experience
• Strong experience with AWS Lambda
• Proficiency in Python and/or JavaScript (Node.js)
• Experience with API Gateway and REST APIs
• Good understanding of IAM roles, permissions, and security
• Experience using CloudWatch for logging, monitoring, and debugging
• Understanding of serverless architecture
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Experience integrating multiple AWS services

Position 1: Amazon Connect

• Amazon Connect architecture and configuration
• Contact flows, queues, routing profiles, and IVR
• Telephony concepts and call troubleshooting
• Agent softphone and real-time metrics

Position 2: Amazon Lex / Conversational Bots

• Amazon Lex V2 bot development
• Intents, slots, contexts, and fulfillment
• Conversational UX and NLU tuning
• Integration with Amazon Connect and backend APIs
• Exposure to LLM / Bedrock bots (good to have)

Position 3: Advanced Serverless / Lambda

• Advanced Lambda triggers and event processing
• Step Functions
• Performance tuning and error handling
• AppSync / GraphQL (good to have)

Position 4: Agent Desktop / UI Integration

• Amazon Connect Agent Workspace customization
• Agent desktop extensions and workflows
• Backend integration using Lambda and API Gateway
• Database experience (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB)
• Third-party system integrations

Nice to Have

• Contact center or telecom domain experience
• Knowledge of KMS and encryption
• Basic frontend development skills
• Experience in Agile/Scrum teams
