Works in the area of Software Engineering, which encompasses the development, maintenance and optimization of software solutions/applications.1. Applies scientific methods to analyse and solve software engineering problems.2. He/she is responsible for the development and application of software engineering practice and knowledge, in research, design, development and maintenance.3. His/her work requires the exercise of original thought and judgement and the ability to supervise the technical and administrative work of other software engineers.4. The software engineer builds skills and expertise of his/her software engineering discipline to reach standard software engineer skills expectations for the applicable role, as defined in Professional Communities.5. Plays a significant part in the recruitment and development of people.Detail Technical DescriptionDesign and develop cloud architecture solutions based on AWS best practices.Build serverless applications using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and AuroraDB.Integrate AWS services with front-end and back-end applications.Write Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) scripts for provisioning AWS resources.Implement authentication and authorization using AWS IAM, Cognito, or other security tools.Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business and technical requirements.Ensure security, compliance, and governance are met within AWS environments.Optimize cloud costs and performance through proper architecture design.Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues.Stay updated with the latest AWS services and features.Assist in the automation of deployments using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.Work closely with development and DevOps teams to integrate cloud solutions.Document architectural designs, processes, and best practices.Strong knowledge of AWS services (SQS, Lambda, API Gateway, AuroraDB, S3, Glue, RDS, IAM, etc.).Experience in designing scalable, high-availability cloud solutions.Understanding of networking, security, and compliance in AWS.Hands-on experience with AWS Well-Architected Framework.Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like CloudFormation, Terraform, or AWS CDK.Scripting knowledge (Python, Node Js).AWS certifications (AWS Certified Developer – Associate / AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional) are a plus.
