Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer with 45 years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and production support environments . The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, monitoring, and optimizing AWS-based production systems while ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 production support for AWS-hosted applications and infrastructure.
• Monitor production systems, analyze incidents, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and implement permanent fixes.
• Design, deploy, and manage AWS infrastructure using services such as EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, ELB, and Auto Scaling.
• Build, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent tools.
• Ensure system availability, scalability, security, and cost optimization in production environments.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to support application releases and deployments.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging using CloudWatch, ELK, Prometheus, or similar tools.
• Handle on-call support, scheduled maintenance, and emergency production issues.
• Ensure compliance with security best practices, backups, and disaster recovery processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 45 years of experience in AWS DevOps / Cloud Engineering roles.
• Strong hands-on experience in AWS production environments .
• Proven experience in production support / live application support .
• Good understanding of Linux/Unix systems and shell scripting.
• Experience with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes or ECS .
• Working knowledge of version control systems (Git).
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools.
• Good troubleshooting, incident management, and communication skills.
