Skill: Aws Data Engineer (Scala or Pyspark)

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Should be able to interact with the business and understand the requirements
2. Build technological capabilities and mentor team
3. Experience with Agile methodologies - Scrum, Continuous integration
4. Attention to detail, Desire and ability to work in a multi-distributed team environment
5. Ability to excel in a short timeframe under short sprints
6. Strong communication and documentation skills

Required Technical Skill Set:

1. AMI Rehydration, Cloud formation, EMR, Glue, S3, Lambda/Python, ELB and other AWS components knowledge
2. AWS monitoring setup and building the traffic dashboard and SNOW incidents for AWS related traffic and services
3. CI/CD build and deployment support
4. Ensure reliability of data pipelines, ETL processes, data transformations
5. Conduct functional, regression testing of database systems using standard industry practice (SQL, Python)
6. Identify areas of improvement in data quality processes, propose solutions to enhance data reliability, accuracy
7. Implement data quality best practices, optimize data workflows
