AWS Data Engineer

About the Role We are looking for an experienced AWS Data Engineer to join a leading global consulting firm delivering cutting-edge Commercial Analytics and Technology solutions for top-tier clients. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact, enterprise-scale data engineering projects in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows on AWS
• Build and optimize data processing solutions using Python, PySpark, and SQL
• Architect real-time and streaming data ingestion pipelines using Kinesis or Kafka
• Orchestrate and automate workflows using Airflow or AWS-native services
• Implement data modeling, query optimization, and performance tuning techniques
• Ensure data quality, security, governance, and cost optimization across cloud platforms
• Collaborate with analysts, scientists, and business stakeholders to deliver robust data solutions

Qualifications

• 58 years of hands-on Data Engineering experience
• Strong AWS exposure: S3, EC2, Glue, Lambda, Redshift, Athena
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Spark/PySpark
• Hands-on experience with Airflow or AWS workflow orchestration
• Solid understanding of data warehousing and dimensional modeling
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Git, and IaC tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
