Job Description:
The Senior Amazon Connect Developer will lead the development implementation and support of cloud contact center solutions using Amazon Connect and AWS services The role involves designing contact flows building integrations developing backend services deploying bots and providing L3level support The candidate will also guide junior developers and collaborate with cross functional teams
Key Responsibilities
1 Implementation
Develop end-to-end Amazon Connect Contact Flows queues routing profiles quick connects and telephony setup
Build integrations using
o AWS Lambda NodeJS Python
o API Gateway
o DynamoDB
o Kinesis Event Bridge SNSSQS
Implement Amazon Lex V2 bots voice chat and integrate with Connect
Build AI automations using Amazon Bedrock Lambasted workflows
Implement third-party integrations CRMs ticketing tools payment gateways verification services data providers
Write reusable and modular code for backend logic API consumption validations and routing
2 Support
Troubleshoot production issues related to
o Call flow behavior
o Routing failures
o LambdaAPI failures
o CRMthirdparty API errors
o Contact quality or latency issues
Handle L2L3 support requests and perform RCA
Fix defects optimize flows and improve performance
3 CICD DevOps
Work on CICD pipelines for
o Lambda deployments
o Contact flow JSON automation
o Lex bot promotion Dev QA UAT Prod
Use CodePipeline GitHub Actions Jenkins or Azure DevOps
Follow Git branching strategy for version control
4 Documentation Collaboration
Prepare TDD sequence diagrams config documents and deployment guides
Work closely with testers BAs DevOps and cloud architects
Provide technical mentorship to junior resources
Required Skills
Strong Handson in Amazon Connect must-have
Programming Nodejs preferred Python
Experience building AWS Lambda API Gateway REST APIs DynamoDB tables
Good knowledge of JSON REST Webhooks
Amazon Lex V1V2 bot development
Experience with Amazon Bedrock prompting orchestration LLMbased automation
Strong debugging skills and eventdriven troubleshooting
Knowledge of AWS IAM S3 CloudWatch logsmetrics
Experience implementing CICD pipelines
Preferred
Experience with Salesforce ServiceNow Dynamics integrations
Understanding of PSTN SIP CTI fundamentals
Exposure to CyaraTestRTC for contact center testing
AWS certification is a plus
