Job Title: AWS Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Experience: 7+ Years

Work Mode: Hybrid (23 days/ Pune or Chennai office)

Location Preference: Pune (preferred)

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and manage secure and scalable cloud solutions integrated with on-premises Active Directory environments. The role demands strong expertise in hybrid cloud architecture, automation, and enterprise identity management to ensure reliable, compliant, and cost-optimized infrastructure operations.

Key Responsibilities

AWS Cloud Infrastructure

• Design, deploy, and manage AWS services including EC2, EBS, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, and AWS Backup .
• Build secure and scalable networking architectures using VPCs, subnets, route tables, NAT gateways, and VPNs .
• Optimize cloud performance and cost through automation, monitoring, and governance best practices.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using CloudWatch and third-party tools.
• Manage AMIs, launch templates, lifecycle policies , and ensure adherence to security and operational standards.

On-Premises Infrastructure

• Administer multi-domain Active Directory forests , including GPOs, trusts, and replication.
• Manage DNS, DHCP, DFS namespaces , replication, and troubleshooting in hybrid setups.
• Perform regular system health checks, patching, and disaster recovery testing for domain controllers.

Hybrid Integration & Automation

• Implement and support hybrid identity solutions such as AD Connect, SSO, and Federation .
• Develop automation using PowerShell, AWS CLI , and scripting tools for provisioning and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot complex hybrid issues across identity, networking, and authentication layers.
• Collaborate with security and compliance teams to ensure policy enforcement and audit readiness.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field .
• 67 years of infrastructure experience, including 5+ years of hands-on AWS expertise .
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy .
• Experience with hybrid cloud architectures and identity federation .
• Proficiency in PowerShell, Python, or Bash scripting.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator) are preferred.
