AWS - Principal Engineer

Location: Pune

Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced AWS Principal Engineer with over 10 years of experience in cloud architecture and engineering. The ideal candidate will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of scalable and resilient cloud solutions on AWS.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement AWS cloud infrastructure and services for various applications.
• Lead architectural discussions and design reviews.
• Guide teams in best practices for cloud application development and deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver cloud strategies.
• Optimize performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency of AWS solutions.
• Conduct security assessments and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to their professional development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering and cloud architecture.
• Expertise in AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and VPC.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security best practices.
• Experience with DevOps practices and automation tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
