Key Responsibilities

- Source Data Preparation

- Export and prepare media assets and metadata from Avid MAM for migration.

- Organize source data to ensure accuracy and consistency.

- Metadata Migration

- Extract, enrich, and validate metadata from Avid MAM systems.

- Ensure metadata integrity and linkage between media objects and assignments.

- Normalize metadata for compatibility with downstream ingestion workflows.

- Media Migration

- Execute migration workflows to transfer media assets from AWS S3 archives to cloud-based processing environments.

- Validate successful transfers and troubleshoot issues during migration.

- Cloud Integration

- Support ingestion workflows within Mimir to process assets, generate proxies, and archive content into Google Cloud Storage (GCS).

- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure smooth integration with CBS NEWS file transfer platform.

Required Skills & Experience

- Mandatory: Strong hands-on expertise with Avid MAM (Media Asset Management).

- Experience with AWS S3 services and cloud-based migration workflows.

- Familiarity with Google Cloud Storage (GCS) or other cloud storage platforms.

- Knowledge of metadata migration processes and workflow automation.

- Ability to design scalable, reliable, and efficient migration workflows.

Preferred Qualifications

- Background in media & broadcast technology environments.

- Familiarity with Mimir ingestion pipelines.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
