Role Overview: AV Project Manager
We're looking for a dynamic AV Project Manager to lead, execute, and deliver high-quality AV installation projects across your assigned region. If you love tech, thrive at sites, and enjoy leading teams to success this role is for you!
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
- Plan, schedule, and oversee AV installation projects alongside the Project Management team.
- Conduct site visits to evaluate requirements and identify challenges.
- Ensure flawless execution aligned with technical drawings, specs, and client expectations.
- Collaborate with Design & Engineering to maintain design integrity.
- Manage multiple AV projects simultaneously with precision and efficiency.
Site & Team Management
- Lead and supervise installation teams, technicians, and subcontractors.
- Allocate resources, monitor progress, and resolve on-site issues proactively.
- Ensure teams follow best practices, safety standards, and technical protocols.
- Build a culture of accountability, efficiency, and performance.
Quality Assurance & Technical Compliance
- Validate installations for cable management, rack dressing, and system integration.
- Oversee testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting for seamless performance.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety norms.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Act as the primary on-site point of contact for clients, vendors, and project managers.
- Provide timely status updates and reports to leadership.
- Coordinate with procurement & logistics for timely material delivery.
Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain accurate project documentation, as-builts, and handover records.
- Capture and communicate challenges, deviations, and learnings.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or relevant experience.
- 5+ years in AV installation, with 2+ years in a leadership role.
- Hands-on expertise with AV systems: Crestron, Extron, AMX, QSC, Biamp, Dante etc.
- Strong knowledge of networking, IP-based AV, and structured cabling.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings & documentation.
