About the Role

VEGA Global is looking for a Senior AV Programmer / Control Systems Engineer to design, develop, deploy, and support enterprise-grade AV control systems and DSP solutions for large-scale integration programs. You will serve as a technical authority, collaborating with project teams and stakeholders to deliver reliable, scalable, future-ready AV architectures.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy AV control systems and user interfaces for enterprise environments.
• Advanced programming across control platforms such as Crestron, Q-SYS, AMX, and Extron (as applicable per project).
• Configure, tune, and optimize DSP using Biamp / Q-SYS / Symetrix (as applicable).
• Integrate AV solutions with IT/network infrastructure (AVoIP, VLANs, QoS, Dante); coordinate with customer IT teams.
• Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for complex field issues across live and production environments.
• Partner with Project Engineers, Project Managers, Designers, and global stakeholders to meet delivery timelines and quality standards.
• Maintain documentation: control narratives, code standards, as-built documentation, test/commissioning checklists.
• Mentor junior programmers; drive best practices, quality, and standardization across the programming function.

Required Experience & Skills

• 8+ years of hands-on AV programming and control systems engineering experience.
• Deep expertise in Crestron and Q-SYS (mandatory).
• Strong exposure to enterprise-scale AV deployments and complex integration environments.
• Strong understanding of signal flow, networking fundamentals, and AV over IP.
• Calm, analytical problem-solver with strong ownership and collaboration skills.
• Willingness to travel across India as per project needs.

Preferred Certifications (Good to Have)

• Crestron (Professional / Master)
• Q-SYS Level 2 / Level 3
• CTS-D / CTS-I
• AMX / Extron certifications (relevant)
